About RV TechLink
Where is the company located?
RV TechLink was developed in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada by Jayme Schroeder, a red seal journeyman RV technician and software developer. The platform does not operate out of a physical location, instead the service is based entirely online and operates through the use of cloud computing in order to facilitate the connection of RVers with RV repair services.
RV TechLink operates internationally, both in the US and Canada, and can be used to find repair services as a Canadian in the US, or as an American in Canada, making it truly ideal to have while traveling.
Why was the platform created?
It's no secret that there has been a technician shortage since the first RV was created. But it's not always a matter of there being no one available to help you when something on your RV breaks at a critical moment - sometimes it's just a matter of not being able to connect with the ones that are available.
Until now, the current method of finding an RV technician has always been by word of mouth, choosing one of the first few options from a Google search, or using a campground reference. This doesn't give a lot of hope to find someone when at best you have 3-5 options nearby that are readily available to you, and that's if there schedule isn't already full.
With RV TechLink, you can simply create a request which will notify all registered and available technicians registered on the platform that you are in need of repairs. Whether you're a technician that had an appointment cancel, had plans canceled last minute and figured you'd rather make some money in your free time, or are just going through a lull in the season, RV TechLink is here to help keep the workflow more regulated, and keep everyone happy!
